![]() ![]() ![]() The book is about ‘living’ your life, letting things go and finding happiness in what you have taking a step back and looking at things with a different perspective. However, soon you realize that the larger picture is something else. The concept of If You Could See Me Now, while interesting was a little hard to believe at first and in fact a bit amateurish. She takes a fair amount of time to build things up, but it is really worth by the time you finish the book. I, for one, do not find Cecelia Ahern’s books quick reads. However, is Ivan a real person? If not, then why is Elizabeth able to see him? If yes, then why no one else can? It grows on you slowly. With his penchant for adventure and a colorful take on things at large and small, Ivan opens a whole new dimension for Elizabeth helps her reimagine a whole new way of living. Things are monotonous until Ivan Luke’s mysterious friend enters the picture. She can’t even find solace with a sisterly bond as her sister is a free-spirited woman, quite close to following their mother’s footsteps and has left her own six-year-old son, Luke, in her care. Her mother, an alcoholic, left her when she was young. My Rating: 4 Imaginary Friend! If these couple of words evoke excitement in you, you would love reading If You Could See Me Now.Įlizabeth Egan’s life runs on order there is a little room for spontaneity. ![]()
